Step A.
RENEWING - Login to your Members Area Account, select the Memberships tab and select Renewals, Payments & Transfers. Click on the red Renew button, follow prompts filling out online membership form. Submit form.
ACCOUNT ISSUES - Issues logging into your account or have not created a Members Area Account? Please follow this link to create an account then follow steps for renewing.
JOINING - SLS Members Account can be created via this link.
Step B.
ONLINE PAYMENT - After you have submitted your online membership form, please progress to Make Payment. You then will be taken to the payment portal for payment processing.
Note: You can still pay at the office should you want to pay the old-fashioned way however online payment is preferrable.
FAMILY GROUPS - a family member over 18 years can create a Family Group that will enable them to manage and renew all family members at once and eliminate the need to have individual Portal accounts for each family member. To access Family Groups in the Portal select the Memberships tab and select Family from the sub-menu.

IRB Driver - IRB Crew
Course Overview
IRB Crew
Want fast access in the water? Learn to crew the Inflatable Rescue Boats through the surf and carry out some quick rescues.
This is typically a two week course with training sessions on Saturday 8am-10am, Sunday 9am-12pm and Thursday 6.30pm - 8.30pm
IRB Driver
This advanced course is one of the most demanding in Surf Lifesaving. You will be taught how to negotiate a high profile rescue craft through the surf to complete advanced rescues.
This is a two month course with training sessions on Saturday 8am-10am and Sunday 9am-12pm, as well as some weeknight theory sessions.

Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate
Course Overview
The aim of the Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate course is to develop your skills and knowledge to use oxygen, airway management devices, and automated external defibrillators during resuscitation, and to administer oxygen to conscious or unconscious breathing casualties.
You will also develop knowledge and skills to enable you to demonstrate competence in the nationally recognised units of competency:
- HLTFA404A Apply advanced resuscitation techniques
- PUAEME003C Administer oxygen in an emergency situation
- PUAOPE010C Operate an automated external defibrillator in an emergency
This course is typically run over a week with training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights, all day Saturday and Sunday morning.
